A native of Vancouver BC it was at an early age that Greg developed a love of
photography and motion pictures. Borrowing a 8mm movie camera from his
Grandmother at age ten, Greg started making short films. Throughout his teenage
years he photographed constantly, spending many hours in the dark room. After
high school Greg was accepted into the photography department at Emily Carr
College of Art and Design. While studying there, Greg was continually being asked
why his photographs always looked like “little movies” and why he was not in the
film program? After an introductory film class he realized that a move had to be
